Taz Decker

Taz is a proud member of the recovery community with multiple years of personal and professional recovery experience. In June 2014, Taz and his wife Katie opened a substance abuse treatment center in St. George, Utah. Taz was introduced to recovery in 2009 with the help of his wife and family. Through treatment, recovery, and the 12 steps, Taz has been able to find peace, hope, and transcendence through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Taz has compassion for those who are struggling with addiction and understands the depth, darkness, isolation, and torture caused by using drugs and alcohol. His lifelong mission is to guide those who suffer with the disease of addiction to Christ and His healing power. Taz is extremely excited to share with you his wisdom and experience in recovery because it has forever changed his, and his family’s lives forever.

Since 2009 Katie has been in recovery from Codependency with years of Al-anon experience. Katie has a passion to pass along what was given to her throughout her journey. Sharing her experience, strength, and hope she has gained over the years in many different support groups which include: LDS 12 step support groups where she facilitated a sex and pornography addiction support group for spouses, leading restorative women's retreats for the non profit HOYH Inc., and online courses given by Brene Brown. In 2019 Katie launched www.braveheartliving.com which will give you the ability to designed to face codependency, stop enabling and caretaking, heal relationships and create better connections with loved ones, learn to set boundaries, remove toxic relationships, connect with your higher self, learn conflict resolution, understand the grief cycle, create shame resilience, process anxiety and fear, receive more grace through life's adversary, fully embrace bravery. Katie firmly believes that not only does the addict need healing and support but the family members do also.
