Drugs/Alcohol/ RX Drugs: We believe it is equally important to educate you of the brain chemistry or lack thereof from excessive drug/alcohol addiction.

12 Steps: This is a spiritual based program we implement that has been proven to be highly effective when taken seriously and conducted honestly!

Disease Model: We whole heartedly believe that addiction to either drugs or alcohol is a brain disorder as your mind is no longer functioning as a proper organ should. And since your brain is an organ and is no longer working in the manner it used to or even is supposed to, then by definition addiction is indeed a disease!

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: Commonly known as CBT, this is a form of therapy where we do not focus on to much as to why you do what you do, but through behavioral exercises, you are challenged to learn what to stop doing and to learn what new things to do instead. When implemented correctly, CBT has a evidenced based success rate of 96%!

Family Dynamics: You ever heard how the fruit does not fall too far from the tree? Well this saying truly comes to life when dealing with the "family dynamics" of why and addict uses. So in summary, we prefer to address everyone involved and not just make the addict eh family martyr.

Life Skills: This area of treatment is often overlooked because it seems boring or uninteresting Who wants to learn to cook, clean, and make their bed on a daily basis! Healthy people that's who! It is an essential part of recovery if you want to ever learn to stand on your own two feet. One way we have mastered the art of helping our clients learn some of the crucial daily life skills is through our sober living facilities.

Recreational Therapy: This is as simple as it sounds. We do not only always use the group room for therapeutic growth spurts. Rather, we provide multiple avenues for our client base to learn to have fun in new and sober ways be it hiking, bowling, laser tag, paintball, BBQ, etc.

Experiential Therapy: This is where research meets the end of the road as it can only study so much! This means we implement spiritual based recovery principles that just can't be put under the microscope! We do things (but never force) like prayer, church, 12 step meetings, poetry, music therapy, art, etc.

Motivational Interviewing: This is a technique used to have the professional team use the client's own ambivalence to start to connect eh dots on their own. In other words, we do not fight our clients but go on a journey with them and help them see the destructiveness of their own ways if they continue on the path they are on!

Meditation and Relaxation: You could technically say that these are just more defined ways of how we implement our experiential therapy as no two outcomes are ever the same but when taken seriously, they are always appreciated and highly effective!

Shame Issues: There is a huge difference between shame and guilt! We help you learn to use guilt to your advantage and how shame binds you and holds you captive!

Trauma and Abuse Survival: We do not prefer to call you a victim of abuse in any form of trauma but rather help you learn to understand you are empowered as a survivor and can help others survive as well!

Anxiety and Depression: Unfortunately after prolonged alcohol and/or drug use, you will eventually become more depressed and anxiety ridden. it just comes with the package, so by default we have learned how to help you better cope with these symptoms as they occur.

Relapse Prevention: Now we just wouldn't be a very good outpatient rehab program if we didn't help you learn how to not use right?!

Group Psychotherapy: This simple means we use the power of the group to help one another learn and grow and heal once and for all!

Individual Therapy: This is conducted between not only with our Recovery Coaches but also with our Master Level Therapist's on a regular basis as many times needed as no two clients are alike!

As previously mentioned, please feel free to give us a call so we can better explain just how amazing these and other treatment approaches we use are.
